Peter Todd Strongly Denies Satoshi Nakamoto Claims
Peter Todd, who has contributed to Bitcoin development, firmly stated that he is not Nakamoto. Active in the cryptocurrency sector since 2010, Todd has worked on Bitcoin Core and founded OpenTimestamps. He described the allegations as absurd and claimed that Hoback was searching for an explanation everywhere.
In the documentary, Cullen Hoback posits that based on Todd’s private logs and posts on Bitcoin forums, he could be Nakamoto. Hoback suggests that Todd deleted the only path to access the 1.1 million Bitcoin claimed to belong to Nakamoto.

Before its premiere, several clips from the documentary were leaked online, prompting viewers to wonder about its conclusions. One of the most notable scenes features Hoback directly telling Todd that he is Satoshi.

Before the documentary leak, Nick Szabo and Len Sassaman were prominent names, but now the “Other/multiple” option has gained popularity.
The IMDb page for the documentary even changed to suggest that every participant could be Satoshi Nakamoto, referencing the phenomenon “We Are All Satoshi” within the crypto community. This alteration was later reverted, adding further discussion to the documentary’s purpose.
