Tether Explores New US Stablecoin Launch Targeting Institutions

Stablecoin issuer Tether Holdings SA is considering launching a US-based token aimed at institutional clients, as the company looks to capitalize on President Donald Trump’s pro-crypto administration.

The stablecoin would likely target institutions seeking faster settlement for payments between banks, Tether Chief Executive Officer Paolo Ardoino said during an interview with Bloomberg’s Odd Lots podcast.
