Oklahoma Senator Dusty Deevers files for bitcoin freedom act

OKLAHOMA CITY. (KSWO) - One of Oklahoma’s Senators has put a new bill into motion. The senator in question, Senator Dusty Deevers, has filed the Bitcoin Freedom Act.
With the introduction of this bill people working in Oklahoma can opt to be paid in bitcoin and it will allow vendors to accept it as payment.
“In a time when inflation is eroding the purchasing power of hard-working Oklahomans, Bitcoin provides a unique opportunity to protect earnings and investments,” Deevers said.
